PROMOTION of junior sport has been identified as a crucial key to the future of country clubs.

North Central Football League president Tim Lockhart made the call during a special-end-of-season interview with the Loddon Herald this week.

Lockhart said: “It (junior sport) is probably the most important role in every club.”
