From receiving awards for entries in Loddon Shire Council’s Australia Day art competitions to taking part in novelty swim races, the youngsters were to the fore at the town’s celebrations, waving Australian flags and waiting their turn to be recognised.

Ward councillor Miki Wilson presented students with the awards while Inglewood Lions Club members had sausages cooking on the barbecue to be ready after the ceremony had ended.
