Wind farmers set dates for information sessions on Mincha plans
THE Danish-owned company behind plans for a wind and solar farm at Mincha has set community engagement sessions for next month.

European Energy on Monday said two sessions would be held in Pyramid Hill in mid-November.
European Energy Australia is in the early stages of developing a wind farm in the Mincha region.
“We are also investigating the potential for solar energy at the site,” the company says. “We want to make sure that the local community is involved and informed during the planning of this project
“We also want the local community to benefit from the project and are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for small grants and sponsorships from local not-for-profits.”
European Energy’s update follows information sessions in Mitiamo and Pyramid Hill earlier this month as Potentia develops plans for a solar farm at Mologa.
And Loddon Valley Renewables Awaress Group this week promoted a drop-in session in Pyramid Hill for landowners to add their “red dot” to a map of farmers against renewable energy projects on their properties. Several Loddon farmers had added their dot to the farm during earlier protests against the VNI West project.
