UPPER Loddon Cricket Association will stand out of senior and junior country week competitions this season.

The five-team association has been unable to muster squads for Bendigo Country Week next month and the Northern Rivers junior carnival.

Association secretary Michael Rose said efforts to have players from all clubs in the age range for the junior competition had been unsuccessful. “We’ve have clubs submit names of players who were interested but there were just not enough to field a side,” Rose said.
