MALLEE MP Anne Webster has tested positive for COVID.

In a statement just released, Dr Webster said: "I have tested positive to COVID-19, and will spend the next week recovering in isolation, following the health guidelines in accordance with the Victorian State Government.

"Undoubtedly this is poor timing, but I have a strong team behind me who will be actively

campaigning throughout my time in isolation.

"During this time I will continue to work as the member for Mallee and campaign virtually so we can ensure a strong economy and a strong future for Mallee."

Dr Webster goes into isolation just as Labor candidate Carole Hart comes out after she tested positive for COVID last week.
