Web snares two top recruits

WEDDERBURN has significantly boosted its football stocks for 2026, signing two players with experience in the VFL and the SANFL.

Ruckman-forward Tyler Curtis joins the Redbacks from South Mildura in the Sunraysia league, where he was senior coach in 2024. He won two best-and-fairest awards with South Mildura, playing 173 games and being named in the best 78 times.

Curtis also booted 211 goals with the Bulldogs.

He played with Williamstown and Coburg in the VFL before appearing with Blackburn in the strong metropolitan Eastern competition.

Joining him at Donaldson Park is Rory Lehmann, who played in Woodville/West Torrens’ SANFL premiership side just two years ago. He also won flags with Vermont in the Eastern league in 2018 and 2019, and with Coorong Cats in 2024.
