We know’s there’s opposition, says wind company

THE Australian head of European Energy has admitted there is opposition to the company’s Mincha wind farm plans.

CEO Catriona McLeod said: “Wind farms often create a wide range of opinions – ranging from support to opposition to indifference – and that is the case with Mincha, however we appreciate the respectful approach taken by all visitors.

“We realise that these projects can be challenging and confronting for local communities, but we’ll continue to engage in good faith and seek to understand and address feedback that we receive.

“We’d like to thank everyone who visited our drop-in sessions in Pyramid Hill – our team met plenty of locals and heard lots of different opinions, ideas and questions, and we’re looking forward to returning for more engagement in the new year.”
