Goulburn-Murray Water’s Loddon Valley customers will receive their fixed
charges accounts next week.
The due date was brought forward to December 16, 2021, to align with the rest of the
Goulburn-Murray Irrigation District and will see Loddon Valley customers benefit from a new
payment approach consolidating multiple accounts into a single account.
GMW Water Services Delivery Distribution Customer Service Manager West Paul Gilchrist
said this was a more efficient way to manage multiple accounts and tariffs, saving customers
with multiple services $119 per year.
“In many cases, customers will be able to consolidate their water accounts, which will reduce
the number of records and associated Water Register fees,” he said.
Mr Gilchrist said while the due date had changed for Loddon Valley customers, they would
not be disadvantaged.
“There are a range of payment methods and options for customers under the Croppers
Extension, including flexible payment plans, payments in instalments, early payment with a
discount, and monthly direct debit,” he said.
“We are committed to working with you to help find a solution that best suits individual
circumstances.”
