Waste increase incoming
LODDON Shire residents will see their waste charges increase by 15 per cent as the council suffers the effects of fuel prices and supply challenges. Discussed at their May meeting on Tuesday night, council agreed waste service charges would increase in 2026-27 as it seeks to recover the increased cost of running the service, which covers about 7,600 properties in the shire.
