Polling booths open at 8am this morning for the Voice referendum on constitutional recognition of Aborigines.

Local booths are at Bridgewater, Newbridge, Tarnagulla, Inglewood, Bealiba, Dunolly, Wedderburn, Boort, Pyramid Hill, Serpentine, Dingee, Calivil and Raywood.

Voting is compulsory and booths will close at 6pm.
