The agricultural research farm donation has seen NDCH purchase equipment for Pyramid Hilland its other locations in Quambatook, Kerang, Cohuna and Swan Hill

“We are deeply grateful to the Kerang Agricultural Research Farm for providing Northern District Community Health this generous donation,” Ms Wilkinson said.

“This funding will not only benefit the Pyramid Hill community and residents living in the northern half of the Loddon Shire, but also the more than 25,000 people from throughout the Gannawarra, Loddon, Swan Hill and Buloke municipalities that rely on our services,” she said.

The funding will be used to purchase a new podiatry chair, height adjustable beds and essential equipment, including a defibrillator, oxygen resuscitation kit and skin cancer screening equipment.

“Equipment such as this are essential to have close to home and in community. It supports our team to screen and intervene early and ultimately, that means better health outcomes for people.” Ms Wilkinson said. “Community is at the heart of what we do, and this funding will enable our valuable staff to continue supporting our efforts to ensure residents throughout the region can access important health-related services close to home.”
