$20,000 will help combat bad Bugs
RABBIT control and revegetation will be part of Wedderburn Conservation Management Network action over the next year.

The network has received a $20,000 Victorian Government grant for its project Connect with Nature - Making tracks in the Wychitella: Restoring habitat and Reviving country.
The project will include fencing, revegetation, rabbit control, and field days.
Confirmation of the grant follows an earlier announcement of $19,575 for Mt Korong Eco-Watch Association to help its efforts to control African lovegrass.
North Central Catchment Management Authority regional Landcare co-ordinator Belinda Pritchard said the 19 project grants and 50 support grants across the region would enable community-driven initiatives to protect landscapes and waterways.
“These grants deliver lasting benefits to communities and help groups support their volunteers,” she said.
“The support grants are also really important for our Landcare groups. They help with everything from recruitment of volunteers to covering insurance and can make a big difference for hard working groups.”
