ALL roads lead to Boort on Sunday for the Boort Northern Oasis Summer Race Meeting where all patrons are admitted free and a free racebook is also available.
Feature events include The Northern Oasis $10,000 Pace sponsored by Victorian Olive Groves David Young and The Northern Oasis $10,000 Trot sponsored by Boort Lakes Holiday Park.
Feature Harness Racing will be held at Melton on New Year’s Eve where twelve Group 1 Sires Stakes events will be conducted.
The meeting will highlight the best two, three and four-year-old pacers and trotters in the state.
The Peter Manning trained Plymouth Chubb will be attempting to win his 14th straight race and his fourth Group 1 in the final of the two year old colts and geldings Trotters event.
Harness Racing this weekend is at Bendigo, Friday, afternoon where Inglewood-trained Vincent Kai will compete as well as Smart Cha Cha for Korong Vale trainer Steve Branson.
