THEY stood dumb-struck at the front gate to Bella Canfield’s Salisbury West home.

Friends devastated that bright star Bella, 18, had died after a accident nearby Wednesday night last week.

The bitumen of the Wedderburn-Salisbury road now covered in visual messages from family and friends, outpouring of emotions - grief, love, respect and emptiness.

A garden seat at the side of the road gradually being covered in flowers and more messages of love for the life of Bella who completed Year 12 at Bendigo’s Marist College only last year.
