KACEY Davis knows first-hand the support given to families by the Royal Children’s Hospital.
And this year as the new owner of Newbridge Store, Kacey is backing the annual Christmas appeal encouraging local residents to leave a gift under the festive tree.
She has already seen dozens of wrapped gifts placed ready to be taken to Melbourne for young patients at the hospital.
“I want to help the kids and their families just as Nic and I had fantastic support from the Royal Children’s Hospital after a still-birth two years ago,” Kacey said.
“Families at the hospital are in awful situations and the staff are always nice and helpful.
“Our giving Christmas tree is a way for people in the district to assist those families and support the wonderful Royal Children’s Hospital.”
Kacey said donations would be received until early next month before delivery to the hospital.
