Transfer stations shut on 'catastrophic day', pools will be open
Loddon Shire releases details of service changes for Friday January 9

With tomorrow (Friday 9 January) being declared a Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating day, Loddon Shirfe has confirmed changes to its services but kerbside waste collections are planned as usual.
And Loddon Shire swimming pools at Boort, Inglewood, Mitiamo, Pyramid Hill and Wedderburn will open.
There will be no face-to-face Maternal and Child Health services with any existing appointments being conducted by phone or rescheduled.
The team are still able to be contacted by phone on 0409 166 891. The maternal and child health telephone service is also available on 13 22 29. This service operates 24 hours 7 days a week and is staffed by maternal and child health nurses to provide professional advice on maternal and family health.
Landfills/Transfer Stations will be closed however, there will be kerbside waste and recycling collections.
The Wedderburn Visitor Information Centre will be closed.
All residents are strongly advised to:
· Avoid all non-essential travel
· Check on neighbours, family, and friends, especially those who may need assistance to prepare or relocate · Review and activate your bushfire survival plan immediately
· Stay informed through official emergency channels
