Trains will start running from Raywood on Sunday but the official opening of the station has been delayed.

It has been announced by Regional Rail Revival: "In light of the train derailment (near Goornong) and the uncertainty of when train services will resume, we’ve sadly had to postpone our planned community celebrations for Huntly and Raywood, which were scheduled for this weekend.

"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and will share a new date as soon as possible. We are all very much looking forward to joining the Huntly and Raywood communities to celebrate the new stations.

"Trains will commence travelling to and from Raywood station on Sunday, as planned."
