Total fire ban for all Victoria on Saturday, locals at the ready
A total fire ban has been declared for all of Victoria tomorrow, Saturday, are firefighters tackle large blazes across the state and Loddon crews are on high alert.

Fires in the north east and the Wimmera are challenging firefighters with strong winds, high temperatures and the risk of lightning strike late tonight.
Locally, at the Inglewood fire station has seen volunteers on duty since 8am this morning.
Captain Andrew Smith said five crews had been assembled and ready to respond to any calls. Four crews to be dispatched and a fifth crew to remain in town.
Volunteers at other Loddon firte stations are also in quick-response mode.
Temperatures hit 45 degrees about 1.30pm.
Coopl refuges are available at Boort District Health, Wedderburn Community House and Eddington Community Centre.
“Firefighters are battling multiple fires across Victoria in difficult conditions today with Extreme heat and strong winds.” said CFA chief officer Jason Heffernan.
“Crews have been working hard this week and today to protect their communities. We’re asking Victorians to follow the strict conditions associated with the Total Fire Ban declaration.”
