LAST WEEK'S RESULTS
TOM McKinley and Pat Murphy have single-handedly put Bridgewater back in serious contention for Upper Loddon Cricket Association honours this season.
The opening bats had an unbeaten partnership of 216 runs to defeat Arnold on Saturday - McKinley finishing on 115 and Murphy 101.
Arnold, depleted by the current COVID testing and isolation rules, tried eight bowlers over 32 overs without success. Among players missing were association leading bowlers Cam Dale and Ben Power.
Tom McKinley was also part of the action in the field, taking a catch off the bowling of Harry McKinley in claiming Arnold opener Matt Giri on 73 and soon after Harry scored the wicket of Arnold captain Phil Scholes.
The weekend’s round now has Boort-Yando 12 points behind other sides on the ladder with seven rounds left before finals.
