The Let's Get Rural Classic Aussie Rock Show will be providing the entertainment at Saturday's Rock Along the Loddon at Newbridge to raise funds and morale in the community who lost their recreation facilities in the recent floods.

The legendary Melbourne-based Party Animals are the house band for this show and will be performing at Newbridge as part of their role as being music Ambassadors to the foundation.

The event has been backed by the Australian Horizons Foundation that was formed and is still located in the small town of Georgetown in Far North Queensland where it was established over a decade ago to provide much needed social and economic support to their communities after the drought, floods, cyclone's and live cattle export ban decimated the social, economic and environment of the communities.

Bendigoian Anita Donlon is the architect of the BEEFitUP Australia Let's Get rural projects and along with supporters around the country do the miles to bring the smiles to rural communities needing a hand up.

"By paying it forward, everyone can help us help our rural communities in need of support. Our current fundraising project is the WIN FUEL raffle where a lucky winner can win a $200 fuel card from Ampol. It is through the WIN FUEL raffle run before Christmas that we are able to support the community of Newbridge. Unfortunately there are a lot of communities who have reached out to us so we need to raise as much as possible in the coming months to allow us to do those much needed miles to bring the smiles" said Anita.

Tomorrow's entertainment starts from 3pm.
