A WEEK of frosts have added another touch of winter to mornings across the Loddon this week.
Overnight temperatures have plunged to near zero.
Frosty mornings followed more than 60mm of rain across the region last week and days of thick and lingering fog a fortnight ago.
Forecasts are for higher overnight temperatures this weekend.
Meanwhile, police reported that a person became trapped while attempting to drive through floodwater on the Bridgewater-Raywood Road last Thursday.
They said no one was injured.
Motorists have been urged to drive to conditions and obey road closures and warning signs during flooding.
Water was running across several Loddon roads as late as the weekend in northern areas.
