STUDENTS are whipping up treats in Wedderburn College’s new cafe after last Thursday’s official opening.
School council president Carolyn Stephenson and canteen manager Kylie Cunningham cut the ribbon during a special assembly of students.
The school funded the $70,000 transformation of the original woodwork and welding been used as a junior art room for the last 10 years room into a modern cafe canteen.
Principal Danny Forrest said the cafe project had been well supported by school volunteers, local tradesmen and community organisations who made donations to make completion possible.
