A CONVOY of support CFA units from Bendigo has just arrived at the scene of a Murphys Creek fire that destroyed more than 250 hectares of canola crop and grazing land.
More than 100 volunteer and Forest Fire Management Victoria firefighters were on the scene soon after the fire started about 3.30pm.
Firefighting aircraft and a choppers were also part of the effort.
Crews are expected to remain on the scene well into tonight mopping up.
