With an average winning margin of 40 goals, the Superoos have been a class above all their opponents.
Last Saturday they played surprise packets Inglewood, who were second on the ladder after a winless 2025 season, and gave them a netball lesson, winning 85-43.
Coach Jen Wilson said her team’s mantra was “keep pushing ourselves and keep finding ways to improve”.
She said the side wanted to do better in the second half after leading by 13 goals against the Woodies.
They promptly came out and scored 26 goals to five in the third quarter, with veteran shooter Laura Hicks in fine form.
Taylah Diss at wing defence was the team’s best on the day in helping to shut down Inglewood’s attack.
Woodies coach Danielle O’Toole was the star for Inglewood in her centre role, with goal attack Teesa Fitzpatrick next best.
The loss saw Inglewood drop from second to sixth, highlighting the competitive nature of the season – with the exception of barnstorming Mitiamo.
This week the Superoos travel to Pyramid Hill, the runners up to Miti for the past two years, but who are still bedding down a much-changed squad.
Inglewood is at home in an intriguing match up against an improving Calivil next round, with the two coaches and former schoolmates, O’Toole and Annie Blow, set to face each other in the centre.
