YEAR 12 students at the Loddon’s three secondary schools have sat their final examinations.
The last of this year’s VCE examinations were followed by celebrations for students bringing an end to their 13 years of schooling.
Boort District School held a graduation dinner on Friday night with events also marking the end of the school journey for Year 12 students at East Loddon P12 College and Wedderburn College.
Meanwhile, schools are planning for 2024 with Wedderburn College expecting strong enrolments and preparing for extra classes.
Principal Danny Forrest said the college could have a standalone prep class next year and the school was considering introducing a second Year 7 class for the first time in many years.
“Victoria is experiencing the biggest teacher shortage in almost 40 years,” he said.
“However I am confident that we will have a majority of our positions filled within the next month,” Mr Forrest said.
