Still a steady turnout

Voting at polling booths across the Loddon has wased to a steady trickle this afternoon.

This follows queues this morning when booths opened.

Reports are that the Nationals and the United Australia Party have volunteers at all booths.

Independent Sophie Baldwin and Labor supporters are handing out cards at most booths.

Democracy Sausage fundraisers at Inglewood and Bridgewater have been well supported .

Booths close at 6pm.
