TUESDAY’S lifting of Lockdown 5.0 has given the green light for North Central and Loddon Valley league games this weekend.

While crowds are prohibited, both leagues said clubs and players were keen to be back on the football and hockey fields and netball courts.

“All clubs are ready to go,” said Loddon Valley president Simon Tuohey.

Both leagues will resume with the weekend’s allocated rounds.

In Loddon Valley, the big football match is between reigning premiers Mitiamo and Pyramid Hill. There will also be interest in the Bears Lagoon Serpentine clash with Marong.

In North Central, it’s the Loddon Derby with Boort hosting Wedderburn and another top netball clash.
