MOLOGA Landcare Group is preparing for its traditional Anzac Day service at the memorial now cared for by its members.

“Pictures don’t always the whole story; you must be there to believe and see the change which has occurred,” said president Bill Boyd of the memorial.

“You can feel the presence and spirit of peace when the ceremony is held. Old and young alike will think of the soldiers which have given us the security to live in peace even if they paid the ultimate sacrifice.

“From an overgrown and neglected memorial to a place fit for the celebration and remembrance of the soldiers, the Mologa and District Landcare Group, with the help of the community, has changed this area for old and young to attend.”
