Skin check van visit booked
THE Lions skin cancer check and awareness caravan will roll back into the Loddon early next year.

Inglewood club president Robert Condliffe said the van had been booked for February.
Mr Condliffe said bookings for the checks would be through Inglewood and Districts Health Service.
“The van travels across regularly visits towns across Victoria and, in particular, in remote areas and towns and centres not serviced, or fully serviced, by dermatologists or other skin specialists,” he said.
“Australia has one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world. With our love of the outdoors and our, at times, harsh climate, as a people we are often exposed to the dangers of excessive amounts of ultra violet radiation. People living in regional areas are more at risk”
Mr Condliffe said his club encouraged people in the district to book a skin cancer check.
“This is an important health initiative of Lions for the community,” he said.
