Six step out at Midnight Gala ball
SIX students made their debut at Friday night’s Wedderburn College Parents’ Association ball.
SIX students made their debut at Friday night’s Wedderburn College Parents’ Association ball.
The ball was held in Steel Stadium and had the theme A Midnight Gala.
Dede Williams trained the debutante set who danced the Catherine Waltz, Friendship Pride of Erin and Sindy Swing for their formal presentation.
They had earlier been presented to the official party of college principal Danny Forrest, Kerry Walker, Carolyn and Ralph Stephenson and Errin and John Leach.
Debutantes were Lucy Rollinson (partnered by Jamie Beaman), Breanna Graetz (Aidan Wingfield), Emily Caruana (Aaron Smith), Kaitlyn Coughlin (Timothy Bogwitz), Ella Gleisner (Riley Leach) and Kayla Cramp (Ashton Bellman).
Flower girl was Paige Jarvis and page boy Archie Huismann.
Debutante set chaperones were Emily van de Wetering, Sophia Piccoli, Lauren Barker, Mark Gretgrix and Danny Fowles who also acted as master of ceremonies. Music for the evening was provided by David Skinner of DN Dance Studio. Local businesses supported the association’s fundraising efforts on the night.
