RESIDENTS have been urged to support local small business in the lead up to Christmas.
Loddon Mayor Gavan Holt said: “Small businesses in our shopping strips make our local towns.
“We must do everything we can to support local shops and I encourage all people to look locally first this Christmas,” Cr Holt.
This Loddon Herald has a special eight-page Christmas gift feature showcasing Loddon businesses.
Cr Holt said: “Backing shops in our towns grows the sustainability and growth of communities across the Loddon Shire.
“Christmas is a peak time for these small businesses who are a very important and valued part of our shire,” Cr Holt said.
