Day 8 - 13 July

THYLUNGRA STATION - BETOOTA

First up this morning was a radio interview on ABC Wimmera which I found out later was on ABC 594 which goes everywhere. I'm told the interview, although cut short because of time restrictions, went very well, which is what I felt. This made our start to the day later at after 9.00am.

Next stop, 130km away was Windorah, a  largish old town, for replenishment of man and machine. The girls as well.

Extremely generously Mervs Servo Windorah shouted over $300 worth of fuel for the bikes and support vehicles.  There are so many good people in this world.

Two incidents to report today. George had a flat tyre and Bens muffler went west with no one hurt.

Tonight we're camped over the road at the particularly outback and famous Betoota Hotel

Thought for the day.  While waiting on hold for the ABC interview this morning I noticed that I was walking around and one sees others doing the same. Why is this so?

Distance travelled 352km   Total 2268km
