THE search has started for a new Loddon Shire chief executive officer.
Phil Pinyon will retire in July after a 40-year career in local government across three states, the last five years with the Loddon council.
A professional recruitment agency will be appointed to assist council in identifying a short list of candidates for consideration.
Councillors on Tuesday adopted a CEO employment and remuneration policy that sets the procedures to be followed in recruiting a CEO and their appointment. The agency will act as independent advisor to council.
