School or hospital preferred southern location
TWO possible sites for an early learning centre for southern Loddon communities have been identified in the Inglewood and Districts Community Bank feasibility study.

According to the study, the preferred site for a new build or the construction of a modular facility was land opposite Bridgewater Primary School.
A second option is Inglewood and Districts Health Service. Either of these options will be dependent on approval being given by Department of Education or IDHS,” the study found.
“If funding is not available from government grants or the election commitment, this amount of money will be difficult to secure through fundraising or loans, hence repurposing an existing building needs to be considered.
“The existing kindergarten/maternal and child health / senior citizens centre in Inglewood is the preferred option for an early years facility in a repurposed building, subject to approval from Loddon Shire Council and subject to a suitable home being found for the senior citizens club and other users of the facility, i.e. Foodbank and Planned Activity Group.”
