School leaders receive their badges

BOORT District School announced its new crop of student leaders at last Friday’s assembly.
Student Representative Council Leaders Mia Braun and Alex Cockerell presented badges to the representatives from Years 3-11. Lily Caine will also lead the SRC but was absent.
Students have already begun working on ideas for events and improvements around the school.
These include seating, shade and toilet facilities being raised as priorities.
Principal Mr Todd Woodfine said he was impressed with the enthusiasm of the new group and was keen to work with the SRC throughout the year.
