Scar tree date

THE POSTPONED released of concept designs for the Lake Boort Scarred Tree Masterplan will now take place next Thursday.

Loddon Shire Council late Tuesday announced today's planned release had been postponed and yesterday confirm the release for next Thursday.

Council said:

Development of a Boort Scarred Trees Masterplan and concept designs is underway, in

consultation with key stakeholder organisations including Dja Dja Wurrung and responsible

agencies. The Masterplan aims to inspire visitation, engagement and appreciation of the

site, placing the world-class heritage, and Boort firmly on the map.

Aspect Studios, one of Australia’s leading landscape architects, are developing the

Masterplan, including consideration of boardwalks to support engagement with this important

site. Members of the public are invited to attend a 60 minute online session Thursday 10

March 1–2pm to view the developed concept design.
