SCATO Plus liquidators are confident the company can resume operations under new owners.
Liquidator Craig Crosbie said there had been “significant interest” in the assets of the Scato Plus mushroom mulch business, including the land and buildings at Newbridge.
“A number of site visits by prospective purchasers have been undertaken. All interested parties have been asked to provide an offer to acquire the Scato Plus assets by July 22,” he said.
“The liquidators have been greatly assisted by the Scato Plus directors and former employees. I believe there is a good prospect that the Scato Plus operations will recommence under a different ownership structure in the future.”
