Safety plans at danger crossing
SAFETY improvements at a treacherous Loddon intersection are “under consideration”, the Department of Transport and Planning said on Friday.

Loddon Shire’s Tarnagulla Ward councillor Nick Angelo earlier this year called for changes at the Bendigo-Maryborough and Bridgewater-Maldon road crossing.
Cr Angelo said there had been many accidents at the crossing with local CFA volunteers usually the first responders.
He said treatment could include stop signs or intersection realignment.
A department spokesperson told the Loddon Herald: ““We have conducted an inspection of the Bendigo-Maryborough Road and Bridgewater-Maldon Road intersection and are considering safety improvements for the area.”
