Rocking to recovery

A MAJOR flood recovery fundraiser will be held in Newbridge on Saturday.

Rock Along The Loddon will raise funds towards rebuilding the town's recreation reserve severely damaged in the October flood emergency.

Local hotel publicans Michele and Matt Mizzi and Australian Horizons Foundation are among drivers of the important event in the Loddon River town.

Music starts from 3pm with Leigh Turner taking the stage from the deck of the Newbridge Hall followed by trhe Classic Aussie Rock Show from 7pm.

People attending are asked to bring their own chair.
