TARNAGULLA residents will assemble for the town’s fist ANZAC Day Dawn Service this month.Fire brigade secretary and lo-cal postmaster Paul Davis said the Dawn Stand-to would be held at the town’s memorial at 6.30am followed by the tradi-tional gunfirebreakfast. “There have been ANZAC services in Tarnagulla since 1920 but never a Dawn Service,” he said.Paul said a guest speaker and bugler were being arranged for the fist-ever Dawn Service that “will reflecton the true meaning of ANZAC Day”.Pre-COVID, ANZAC services alternated between Tarnagulla and Newbridge but have not been held for two years.Paul said the Tarnagulla Dawn Service, being co-ordinated by the firebrigade, would be for residents of both communities.
