BRENDAN Reeves returned to the top driving level with third place in the first round of the 2022 Australian Rally Championship in Canberra at the weekend.

Wedderburn’s Reeves teamed with co-driver Kate Catford racing for Hyundai at the Netier National Capital Rally. Canberra’s Harry Bates took home the rally title for the fourth year in a row.

Shane van Gisbergen, who took out the final two stages in his debut event, was second. Reeves also took two stages in the rally.
