Wedderburn had shrugged off a determined Wycheproof Narraport to win today's North Central league match by 29 points on a heavy Donaldson Park.

The Redbacks trailed at half time and both sides failed to move the scoreboard in the third term before the home side overcame persistent drizzle, a heavy ball and wading through mini-lakes in places with an eight-goal final term.

Terrific Tommy Campbell was again the main goalkicker.

Wedderburn will play Sea Lake Nandaly next Saturday in the first semi-final
