A re-elected Labor Government will deliver a new Country Fire Authority (CFA) station for
locals in Raywood, said Labor candidate and Bendigo East MP Jacinta Allan this morning.
Her announcement said:
Our hardworking CFA volunteers put their lives on the line to protect our community.
That’s why Labor will invest $1.2 million to rebuild the Raywood station on its current site, making sure our volunteer firefighters have the tools and equipment they need to safely respond to emergencies.
This investment will boost the resources of the local CFA in Raywood and will deliver a new, modern station so volunteer firefighters have the facilities they need to keep our community safe.
Today’s funding builds on the more than 50 new and upgraded fire stations we’re delivering across the state, in addition to making sure our fire services have the facilities and equipment they need.
