LOCAL councils will push the Federal Government to extend its roads to recovery funding program.
And councils are also concerned that their share of money from the Federal Government under Commonwealth assistance grants has almost halved in 25 years.
Cr Gavan Holt told Loddon Shire Council last week that delegates to the Australian Local Government Association annual conference in Canberra had backed extension of the roads program beyond 2024.
Cr Holt said the program was significant for Loddon Shire
