As part of the 16 Days of Activism, Inglewood District Health Service and the Inglewood Walking Group organised a Walk to Show Respect from the town hall to the Inglewood Hospital to raise awareness of gender-based violence.

After the walk a morning tea and coffee was provided while James Pierce from the Loddon Shire explained his role as well-being and inclusion officer to the group. Among those walking with community members IDHS chief executive Dallas Coghill and Loddon Shire staff Nicole Taylor and James Pierce.

The 16 Days of Activism concluded yesterday after a range of events throughout the Shire promoting the cause.

Boort District Health were also involved in raising awareness with information sessions, the parkruns and school presentations across the 16 days
