The event organiser Ian Potter partnered with Glenda Kelly from Echuca Moama to win the Group 1 Hi/Lo Doubles event on Sunday.

Hi/Lo pairs players at different ends of the croquet rankings in an event aimed to produce close results.

The weather was glorious on both days, with Little Lake Boort providing a stunning backdrop to play.

The event, which attracted 72 players from Victoria and NSW, took place on the croquet club’s three lawns as well as on six temporary surfaces at the neighbouring tennis club.

Potter and Kelly took out their category ahead of another Boort player, Daryl Henderson, and his partner Paul Allen from Castlemaine. Boort’s Denise McDougal and Robyn Devlin from Horsham were runners up in Hi/Lo Group 5.
