WEDDERBURN Band Cricket Club has started construction of new practice nets.
The club received funding from the Cricket Australia infrastructure fund and Loddon Shire for the project.
The two-wicket nets will be constructed to national cricket standards with most work being done by volunteers. Work is expected to be finished next month.
Wedderburn played off for last season’s Upper Loddon Cricket Association flag and finished minor premers.
