Power blackouts hit towns, business forced to shut doors

Staff at Inglewood Pharmacy wait for power supplies to resume

MORE than 1000 businesses and homes have been hit with a power blackout this morning.

Supply stopped in Inglewood about 10.55am before suppyl started to resume from about 11.30am.

The blackout is widespread. From Woodstock, Tarnagulla and Newbridge across to Campbells Forest and up to Wedderburn Junction.

Bridgewater supply hasalso been interrupted.

Businesses have been closed while waiting for the fault to be repaired.

According to Powercor, supply is expected to resume by 1.30pm
