Police are investigating a fatal collision in Dunolly last week.
They said this afternoon that emergency services responded after a motorcycle was travelling southeast along McKinnon Road when it struck a kangaroo about 6.45am on WednesdayApril 2.
Police said the rider, a 63-year-old Dunolly man, was taken to hospital but later died in hospital on Wednesday.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
