A 19-YEAR-OLD Eaglehawk man will be summonsed to appear in court after being nabbed by police driving at 176kmh.
Bridgewater’s Senior Constable Mick Balazs said the driver’s vehicle had also been impounded.
He said the driver was detected driving on the Bridgewater-Maldon Road, Bridgewater.
Senior Constable Balazs said a 16-year-old passenger was in the car.
Police are investigating the theft of four firearms and a quantity of gold from a Kurting house on October 13 between 8am and 4pm.
The firearms had been in secured storage, they said. A silver car was possibly seen in the area on the day.
